Transformation begins with prayer. 

Churches across the city commit to praying regularly for the needs of their community. 

Gather together or within your own congregations to pray for: 

Pray for protection, wisdom, and encouragement for students, teachers, and staff. Ask God to bring peace, healthy relationships, and hope into schools and support students facing emotional or family struggles.

Pray for wisdom, integrity, and discernment for city leaders as they make decisions that impact the community. Ask God to guide them toward justice, unity, and servant-hearted leadership.

Pray for stronger marriages, healthy relationships, and peace within homes. Ask God to bring healing, provision, and support to families facing hardship, grief, or instability.

Pray for nonprofits, ministries, and outreach programs serving the community. Ask God to provide resources, strength, unity, and lasting impact for those helping others.

Pray for those affected by poverty, addiction, homelessness, mental health struggles, and loneliness. Ask God to bring healing, hope, provision, and restoration throughout the community.

Right now, people in our communities are searching for hope, peace, and encouragement. The Prayer Tent Initiative creates a simple but powerful opportunity for churches to bring the love and presence of Jesus directly into the community through prayer.

A Prayer Tent is more than a pop-up location—it is a visible declaration that we are FOR OUR CITY. By setting up prayer tents throughout our neighborhoods, churches and Christian-led businesses can create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Anyone can stop by, share a need, and receive prayer from believers who are ready to listen, encourage, and minister to them.

When churches work together in this way, we demonstrate that we are one Church united for the good of our city.
